Cafeteria:  Homemade Shepherd’s pie with garden salad and roll for $5.50

 

The last Blue Bistro of first semester will take place today.  The cost is $10 and you can sign up in the office.  The menu is Roasted Carrot Ginger Soup, Pulled Pork Croque Monsieur Sandwich, Loaded Potato Skins, Blueberry Bread Pudding with Caramel and Blueberry Crema along with a Mint and Lime Spritzer.

 

2019 Grad Fees are now due.  The cost is $20 and we are encouraging those students that will be completing their grad requirements in January to please ensure that your grad fee is paid prior to final exams this month.

 

UPEI Scholarship/Bursary application process presentation is today at 2:30.  Again, students must sign up in Student Services to attend this session.

 

UPEI is hosting the 2nd PEI High School Math League Competition on Saturday, Feb 2nd from 10:30 – 1:30. There will be a meeting this Thursday at 12:00 in Mrs. Coughlin’s room, Room 111 for all students interested in participating.

 

Reminder to Peer Helping Peers that there will be a brief meeting in the music room at the beginning of period 2.

 

Tomorrow (Thursday) there will be the first meeting of Bluefield’s Guitar Club.  Meeting will be held in the music room at lunch.  Whether your skill level rivals Jimmi Hendrix or if you are an aspiring weekend strummer, all are welcome.  Come and check it out!

 

Reminder that second semester schedules will only be available to students on the first day of second semester classes.

 

While you are preparing for final exams, could you please take the time to start tidying lockers and looking for any overdue library materials.

2019 Grad Fees are now due.  The cost is $20 and we are encouraging those students that will be completing their grad requirements in January to please ensure that your grad fee is paid prior to final exams this month.

Grade 12 students who had grad pictures taken by Heckbert’s can now pick up their proofs in the main office.  If you have not yet paid your $20 sitting fee, please check in the office.  Heckbert reps will be here on Thursday, January 10 to pick up orders.

Concert Band students – There will be no rehearsals this week.  Early morning and after-school rehearsals will resume Monday, January 14.  There will also be a quick meeting for Concert Band students in the bandroom today at 12 noon.

 

There will be an Improv meeting today at 11:40 in room 123.

Anne Arvidson Driving School January course starts at 3:30pm.  If you require further information, please text Anne at 902-394-0587.
