Grad fees are $20 and are now payable in the office.

 

Tomorrow, Thursday, February 27, will be having Tropical Spirit Day. Make sure you wear your best Hawaiian shirt, lei and sunglasses to prepare for the end of winter and to show your school spirit!

 

Student Council will be selling treats in the main lobby at lunch time for $1.

 

There will be a quick meeting at 12:00 in the art room for any students interested in taking part in the Skills Canada Competition in photography this year.

 

Art club after school today.

 

Anne Arvidson Driving School will be starting Monday March 2nd Room 149. Text Anne at 902-394-0587 to register.

Heckbert’s will be here at lunch today in Room 111. A reminder you must have your balance paid in order to pick up your grad pictures.

 

Tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day! Bluefield encourages everyone to wear pink to symbolize you do not tolerate bullying! Wear pink tomorrow to take a stand against bullying!

Mr. McCarron’s Experiences Canada group who went to Calgary will be meeting today at the start of lunch in Room 113.

Today is Blue Bistro day! The theme is Western. If you have not already signed up, you can do so in the office.

 

Former graduates of Bluefield, Ms. Amy Thompson and Ms. Sarah Sonier will be in our main lobby today at lunch time, to answer questions on transitioning to university and Mount Allison. 

 

Art Club after school today.

 

The Page Turners will meet today at lunch in Room 269. New members to our book club are always welcome to drop in.

 

Yearbook meeting today at 11:40 for all members! Please attend!

 

Clothing donations for the clothing drive can be brought to Room 207 at the beginning of lunch.

The Leroy Experiences Canada group is meeting at lunch time today in the Foods lab, Room 217.  All must attend. We are a week from leaving!!

 

APM Centre – Extra Family Skate: Friday, March 6, 2020 – 12:20pm to 1:20pm. Fees for skates are:  $2.50 Adult, $2.00 Student and $1.00 Pre-school, $7.00 per Family

 

Grade 11 and 12 students,  You’re invited to Mount Allison University’s Winter Open House, in Sackville New Brunswick from 8:30 to 4:00 on Friday February 28!  Come alone, bring a friend, relative, parent or teacher and see what your university experience could look like!  Grade 12’s can also bring along their mid-year transcripts, just in time for our March 1 scholarship and bursary deadline.  There is even a chance to win a $5,000 award towards your residence, and other great MTA prizes!  We welcome you to visit www.mta.ca/openhouse to register, and to see a detailed schedule of our exciting day!

 

Make sure you stop by the culinary room at lunch on February 19 for another tasty Blue Bistro. This bistro is a Western themed meal that includes crispy delicious onion rings for the appetizer, a grilled chicken club sandwich for the main course, and soft, chewy, and delicious chocolate oatmeal cookies for dessert. This meal also includes a refreshing kool-aid punch as your drink, all for only $10! After you try this delicious Western meal, you will not regret it!

Any students who just finished taking art class need to pick up all of their artwork this week in the art room. Any work not picked up will be thrown away due to lack of storage space.

 

Student Council is selling candy bags today in the main lobby at lunch. Cost is $2.00.
