A reminder picture orders are now over due but can still be passed in to the office.

 

Are you looking to explore Canada?  Experiences Canada has awarded Bluefield a second student exchange trip.  This cultural exchange will be to LeRoy, Saskatchewan.  Applications are available from Ms. Smith-MacPhail and in the office.  They are due back on Oct 4th.

 

Guitar Club will be starting again today at lunch time in the music room. All skill levels and styles welcome.

 

Art Club after school today.

 

Congratulations to all the Cross Country runners. Practice will be Thursday at Bonshaw.

 

Just a reminder there will be a parent information meeting for students interested in applying for the ADP program today at 5:00 pm in room 203 – immediately following art club.

 

A reminder the bus for Transitions and Co-op will now be leaving at 12:00. Be on time!!  There will be no bus for Coop or Transition students on Thursday. All students are expected to attend Career Day.

 

Bluefield’s GSA (Gender and Sexuality) group will be meeting on Friday, October 4th at lunch time, in room 269.  Feel free to take your lunch, and we’ll get started right away.  All are welcome to stop by and discuss gender and sexuality issues, topics and concerns. 

 

HAPPY JERSEY DAY BOBCATS!! THE SHOOT OUT HAS BEEN POSTPONED, STAY TUNED FOR THE RESCHEDULED DATE.  A DRAW FOR 2 TICKETS TO AN ISLANDERS GAME AND A $25 GIFT CARD TO BOOM BURGER WILL HAPPEN AT THE BEGINNING OF LUNCH TODAY IN THE CAFETERIA.

 

Blue Goes Green will meeting today at 12:00 in Room 207. All new members are welcome to attend!!

 

The Page Turners Book Club will meet at lunch today in room 269. All are welcome.

 

There will be a meeting today at 11:45 in Room 111, Mrs. Coughlin’s room, for all students who are interested in participating in the University of Waterloo math competitions and the UPEI Math league competitions this year. Students in grade 10, 11 and 12 are welcome to come and learn more about how to challenge your math skills with these competitions throughout the year.  Please see Mrs. Coughlin if you are not able to make the meeting.
